Our Vision and Mission St. Johns Anglican- Episcopal Church is a multicultural parish family, showing love and care for one another, called by God to be one body in Christ. We are a scripture based sanctuary for all youth, adults and families in the South Dade area. We are dedicated to the growth of Christ's Church. St John's Church is a parish family called by God to know, love and serve Christ. We are committed through mission and evangelism to share what Christ has given to us.
THE PARISH OF ST. JOHN'S St. John’s parish celebrated its 95th anniversary as an organized community of faith on the feast of St. John the Evangelist, on November 6, 2011. As a congregation we welcome all who seek to discern the workings of God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit in their lives, both churched and unchurched. For those who seek to return to church life or those seeking it for the first time, it may be an intimidating thing to walk into a church for the first time. It is like, in many ways, walking into a stranger’s home, and setting down among the family as a stranger, and outsider. We know this, we all have been there, and done that. We know it is a nerve racking experience, we really try to be a friendly bunch, and hope you will give us a chance for you to invite us into your life as we seek to become part of yours. St. John’s is part of the larger worldwide Anglican Communion. It is part of the Diocese of Southeast Florida and the Episcopal Church of The United States. Our worship service comes from the 1979 Book of Common Prayer. For information about the Church click CHURCH. For information about the School click SCHOOL.
